Our Story
Our company was founded in 1982, originally specializing in building and remodeling dental offices. As the needs of our clients grew, we expanded our services into dental equipment repair and maintenance. For over 40 years, we have supported the dental community with dependable service and quality workmanship. What began as a small local business has grown into a trusted partner for more than 1,200 customers across Western Washington. Our growth has been built on reliability, efficiency, responsiveness, expertise, consistent quality and a commitment to being there when our clients need us. We focus on understanding each office’s needs and providing the support required to keep their operations running smoothly. As we continue to move forward, we remain focused on improvement while staying grounded to the same core values that have earned us the trust of our customers for decades.
About the Owner
Hi! I’m Viktar Patapovich, owner and operator of C.M.D.D.—Custom Medical Dental Design. I first started my journey working alongside Paul Jantzen at what was originally named "Jantzen Dental Services". When Paul retired, I was sad to see him leave, but I was honored that he trusted me enough to carry on the company he once started. I then took over and renamed it C.M.D.D— which stands for Custom Medical Dental Design.
Originally, the company focused on dental remodeling and construction, but as time went on and the needs of my customers grew, I decided to expand our company into dental equipment repair and services to better support offices and take more care of their day-to-day needs all in one place!
Outside of my business, I’m a proud father of seven beautiful children and grateful for my supportive wife who stands by me every step of the way. My family means everything to me, and they are my daily motivation to work hard to be able to provide for them and build a happy life together.
For me, CMDD is more than just a business—it’s something I’ve built through hard work, responsibility, and a commitment to the people I serve. It makes me happy to be someone my clients can rely on by making their work easier while doing what I love. I’m truly grateful for every client who places their trust in me with the needs of their office.
